Shortly after setting out on our new life on the road, we saw an advert for help on a macadamia and avocado farm. The main requirement of the job was “cockatoo chasing”!! and in return we would be given free power and water and use of a bathroom.
Well! That really tweaked our sense of adventure… chasing cockatoos, that sounds great fun!! How are you expected to “chase cockatoos”?!!
So, we phoned and “got the job” which was still quite intriguing. Apparently, it was all about driving the ATV and chasing cockatoos from the macadamia orchards, whilst making as much noise as possible!
OK – well I guess we can do that!
